Ramona manages the Strategic Engagement Team’s content development, and implements aspects of the organization’s engagement with companies, investors, regulators, and other NGOs.
Ramona has a diverse background in fashion, labor rights and corporate responsibility. Prior to joining Transparentem, Ramona managed Corporate Programs for Social Accountabilty International (SAI) where she conducted supply chain evaluations, performed field research, and developed custom projects based on brands’ priority commitments to labor standards and internal risk assessments. Most recently, Ramona was a Research Fellow at the Heilbroner Center for Capitalism Studies at The New School. Her research focused on economic and social upgrading in global supply chains, effects of international trade policy on labor markets, corporate governance mechanisms, and regulatory impact.
Ramona holds an M.A. in Economics from the New School for Social Research and a B.A. in Global Studies from the New School for Public Engagement.
