Debbie directs Transparentem’s budgeting, financial, HR, and operational functions.
Prior to joining Transparentem, Debbie served as the Chief Financial and Operating Officer at Getting Out and Staying Out, an organization that works to empower youth involved in New York City’s criminal justice system to reshape their futures. In addition, she served as the Director of Finance & Operations for Careers through Culinary Arts Program, a national nonprofit that prepares underserved youth for careers in the restaurant and hospitality industry through education and employment. She previously served as the Budget Manager for Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières, an international humanitarian organization that provides medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or poor access to healthcare. With 20 years of experience, Debbie is a mission-driven, results-oriented professional who has transformed hands-on experience harvested from an amalgam of NGOs into demonstrated knowledge in financial and organizational management.
Debbie graduated from Rutgers University with a master’s degree in Public Administration, a B.S. in Accounting, and a B.A. in Economics.
