Aram Schvey manages Transparentem’s US-based investigative team and the execution of Transparentem’s global supply chain investigations.
A trained human-rights attorney, Aram has led human rights investigations in Africa, Latin America, Europe, and the United States, and spent years teaching clinical human-rights fact-finding courses at the Georgetown University Law Center and Fordham Law School. Before joining Transparentem, he served as Senior Policy Counsel and Manager of Special Projects at the Center for Reproductive Rights, where he led the organization’s foreign-policy portfolio. He also litigated First Amendment cases at Americans United for Separation of Church and State, and represented foreign governments and major corporations as a litigator at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton.
Aram earned a J.D. and LL.M. from the Georgetown University Law Center, an M.A. from Johns Hopkins, and an A.B. from Harvard.
